Expedition Expectations

As a Leisure Travel Advisor, you will be responsible for delivering seamless leisure travel arrangements for Direct Travel clients. This role combines sales, service, and expertise to create unforgettable travel experiences.

Key Responsibilities:

• Leisure Travel Sales Build and grow a clientele of new and existing business.
• Client Development Expand client base through Virtuoso marketing, local events, and personal networking.
• Supplier Partnerships Promote and sell DT strategic supplier products.
• Itinerary Planning – Design itineraries, book tickets, and arrange accommodations/services.
• Problem Solving – Research and provide solutions to client travel-related issues.
• Customer Service – Deliver exceptional service to internal and external clients.

Qualifications & Skills:

• 5+ years in leisure travel.
• GDS Expertise 3+ years with Apollo or Sabre.
• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent business education preferred.
• Skilled in Microsoft Office and GDS systems.
• Customer Service Skills – Strong interpersonal and communication abilities.
• Ability to work nights and weekends when required.
• Uphold company image and values.
• Work effectively with management and staff, assist in projects, and take on added responsibilities.
• Ensure high productivity and attention to detail.
