Job Overview

Due to the continued growth of our managed property portfolio, MWD Residential Lettings is looking for a Lettings Negotiator to join our team in East Kilbride.

This is a varied role within our Lettings Department, covering applicant enquiries, property viewings, tenancy progression and general lettings administration.

Previous experience within residential lettings, property management or estate agency is preferred. We would also welcome applicants with strong office-based administration or customer service experience who are interested in developing within the property industry.

The role is primarily office based, with some attendance at properties when required. A full UK driving licence and access to a car would be advantageous, but is not essential.

Responsibilities

Key responsibilities include:

• Responding to prospective tenant enquiries
• Registering applicants and discussing their property requirements
• Arranging and conducting property viewings
• Following up applicants and providing feedback to landlords
• Advertising available properties and managing viewing enquiries
• Progressing applications from enquiry through to move-in
• Processing tenant applications and referencing
• Preparing tenancy agreements and associated documentation
• Coordinating new tenancy and move-in administration
• Processing utility and council notifications
• Completing deposit and tenancy-related administration
• Handling landlord and tenant queries
• Maintaining accurate applicant, tenancy and property records
• Monitoring outstanding applications and documentation
• Working closely with the Lettings and Property Management teams
• Providing general support across the Lettings Department
