Overview
The Level 1 EIDBI (Early Intensive Developmental and Behavioral Intervention) position is designed for individuals who are passionate about supporting children with developmental disabilities. In this role, you will work closely with children and their families to implement individualized intervention plans aimed at enhancing communication, social skills, and daily living activities. Responsibilities

• Assist in the implementation of individualized intervention plans tailored to each child's needs.
• Provide direct support to children during therapy sessions, focusing on skill development and behavioral management.
• Monitor and document progress towards goals, ensuring accurate records are maintained.
• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team, including therapists and educators, to ensure a cohesive approach to each child's development.
• Engage with families to provide updates on progress and strategies for continued support at home.
• Participate in ongoing training and professional development opportunities to enhance skills and knowledge in the field.

Skills

• Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, to effectively interact with children, families, and team members.
• Patience and empathy when working with children who have diverse needs and abilities.
• Ability to work collaboratively within a team environment while also being self-motivated.
• Basic understanding of child development principles and behavioral interventions is preferred but not required.
• Flexibility to adapt strategies based on individual child responses and progress.
