Service Desk Engineer (Level 1) South Melbourne | Hybrid (3 Days Office) | $67k - $72k incl of super with some flexibility Looking to kick-start or grow your IT support career with a friendly and supportive Managed Services Provider?

An opportunity has become available for a Level 1 Service Desk Engineer to join a growing team of 5 to 8 engineers supporting a diverse client base across healthcare, research, education, and construction. This is an excellent role for someone with around 1 to 2 years of IT support experience who enjoys problem solving, working with people, and building their technical skills across a broad range of technologies.

You'll be joining a business with a strong culture, supportive leadership, and genuine opportunities to learn from experienced engineers.

What You Will Be Doing

• Providing Level 1 technical support to a broad range of clients
• Troubleshooting Microsoft technologies and user issues
• Managing and responding to service desk tickets
• Supporting Intune and Microsoft environments
• Monitoring alerts and assisting with cybersecurity related activities
• Resolving hardware, software, printer, and connectivity issues
• Performing break-fix support and system troubleshooting
• Supporting clients both remotely and occasionally onsite
• Participating in an on-call roster for critical system outages

• ConnectWise
• IT Glue
• Kaseya Remote Support Tools
• Cybersecurity monitoring and alert management

About You

• 1.5+ years' experience in a Service Desk, Help Desk, or IT Support role
• Previous MSP experience highly regarded
• Strong customer service and communication skills
• Exposure to Microsoft environments and Intune
• Understanding of networking, desktop support, and troubleshooting
• Some exposure to cybersecurity concepts and alert monitoring
• Current driver's licence required
• Ability to travel to client sites when required

• $60,000 to $70,000 + Super
