Full Job Description

Technical & Communication Skills:

• Basic Infrastructure Skills – Microsoft Active Directory, DNS, DHCP
• Basic Network Skills – LAN & VLAN Knowledge, Routing, Network Design and Implementation.
• Organizational Skills – Strategic Planning, Multi-Tasking, Quality Control.
• Customer Service Skills – Positive & Friendly Attitude. In Person, Phone, & Written. We focus on high quality communication, setting expectations and then exceeding same.
• Basic Computer Fundamentals - Windows, computer hardware, computer software, and printing.
• Basic Office Productivity Application Skills – Ability to both troubleshoot and answer user questions about Word, Excel, Outlook, etc.
• Understanding of ticketing systems/ basic knowledge is a plus.

Responsibilities:

• Work tickets for Network Operations Center, create/ resolve and escalate tickets from clients. Including via phone calls, ticketing system, email, by request of management.
• Stage, Deliver and Install new workstation/ laptop hardware and software. Migrate user data, applications, and settings.
• Install printers/ scanners/ etc. onsite.
• Complete tickets for new hardware installations.

Requirements:

• Basic Windows 10, Windows 11 Experience
• Familiarity with Windows Server 2016, Windows Server 2019 and Windows Server 2022, Windows Server 2025
• Must have reliable transportation daily with ability to transport several boxes of equipment securely and safely.
• Must be a quick learner, can follow a set list of tasks, great communication and professional appearance.

Additional Skills that will be a Plus:

• Familiarity with SonicWALL firewall, FortiGate Firewalls, Dell PowerEdge Servers, Ubiquiti Networks Switches and Access Points
• Basic Familiarity with Microsoft Exchange Administration
• Basic Familiarity with Office 365 Administration
• Microsoft Certified Professional (Windows 10 or higher)
• Basic Diagnostic Skills/ Problem Solving – The ability to look at an issue, determine how it is supposed to work and figure out why it isn’t.
• Experience with supporting clients with their PC (including HW, Applications, Operating systems, printing, network, etc.)

Education:

• Technical school degree, Associate’s degree, Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience

Salary & Benefits:

• Part-Time Hourly Position
• Mileage Reimbursement

Schedule:

• 3 Days a Week 24 hours Guaranteed but may be asked for more.

Work Location:
Will be working out of Farmington Hills office, but also traveling to clients with-in the metro Detroit area On an As needed basis.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $17.00 - $23.00 per hour
