Level 2 ICT Support Analyst

Looking for a Level 2 ICT Support Analyst (Access Management & Data Remediation)

Location: Melbourne, VIC

Start Date: 2 November 2026

Duration: 3-month contract (until the end of January 2027)

Engagement: Contract - PAYG or Pty Ltd

BRYK Consulting is seeking an experienced Level 2 ICT Support Analyst to support a significant security access modernisation initiative within the public sector.

This role will focus on maintaining and improving organisational and user account data, resolving data quality issues, supporting access administration processes and coordinating operational remediation activities across a complex enterprise environment.

The successful candidate will work closely with technical support teams, business stakeholders and external agencies to ensure the accuracy, integrity and reliability of critical organisational and user information.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide Level 2 ICT support, troubleshooting and incident resolution within a complex enterprise environment.
• Investigate and resolve data quality issues relating to organisational structures, delegated authorities and user accounts.
• Coordinate data remediation activities and maintain accurate organisational and user information.
• Undertake root cause analysis, identify recurring issues and recommend practical improvements.
• Manage support tickets, monitor incidents and escalate complex technical issues to Level 3 support teams.
• Liaise with business units, external agencies and technical stakeholders to coordinate issue resolution.
• Maintain technical support documentation, operational procedures and incident reports.
• Support user access administration, account management and operational change activities.
• Prepare regular status reports covering incidents, remediation progress and service performance.

What We're Looking For

• Minimum 3 years' demonstrated experience providing Level 2 ICT support services.
• Strong troubleshooting, problem-solving and root cause analysis capabilities.
• Experience using IT service management and support ticketing systems.
• Demonstrated experience in system administration, operational support or data remediation.
• Understanding of organisational structures, delegated authority models and user access management processes.
• Experience maintaining technical documentation, procedures and support knowledge bases.
• Ability to coordinate with Level 3 technical teams and manage escalations.
• Strong stakeholder engagement, communication and organisational skills.
• Ability to work independently, prioritise competing activities and deliver outcomes within agreed timeframes.

Highly Desirable:

• Previous experience working within Victorian Government or other large public sector organisations.
• Experience supporting enterprise identity and access management systems.
• Knowledge of user provisioning, account administration and organisational hierarchy management.
• Experience coordinating data cleansing, reconciliation or remediation activities.
• Familiarity with ITIL-based service management practices.
