Level 2 IT Support Engineer – MSP

$80,000–$85,000 | Full time | In office | North Fort Worth/Keller/Roanoke

Growing MSP client hiring a Level 2 IT Support Engineer to handle escalated support across multiple client environments. This role requires hands-on networking, server, virtualization, and Microsoft 365 experience.

Exceptional candidates may be considered up to $90,000.

Responsibilities:

• Own escalated tickets through diagnosis and resolution, provide phone support, and assist Level 1 technicians.
• Configure and troubleshoot switches, firewalls, VLANs, wireless networks, VPNs, DNS, and DHCP.
• Administer Windows Server, Active Directory, Group Policy, permissions, and Hyper-V environments.
• Support Microsoft 365, including Exchange Online, SharePoint, OneDrive, Teams, and Entra ID.
• Configure and troubleshoot MFA, Conditional Access, and security controls using least privilege and Zero Trust principles.
• Support deployments and migrations, and use PowerShell for administration and automation.
• Document configurations and changes, test results, and keep clients informed.

Qualifications:

• Demonstrated Level 2 support, escalation, or project experience; 5+ years of overall IT support experience preferred.
• MSP or outside IT services experience supporting multiple external client environments.
• Strong practical networking skills, including switch and firewall configuration, VLANs, IP addressing, DNS, DHCP, and VPNs.
• Hands-on Windows Server, Active Directory, Hyper-V, Microsoft 365, and cloud administration experience.
• Ability to explain configurations and troubleshooting you personally performed and how you verified the results.
• PowerShell experience for administration or automation.
• Microsoft certifications preferred; willingness to earn required certifications after joining.
• Intune, Azure deployments, and Microsoft 365 migration experience are a plus.
• Clear client communication, accurate documentation, and dependable follow-through.
• Available for full-time onsite work in the North Fort Worth/Keller/Roanoke area.
• Authorized to work in the United States without sponsorship now or in the future. No third-party representation.

Schedule:

Primarily Monday–Friday in office. Occasional local client visits, adjusted hours or weekend work for projects and migrations, and a paid on-call rotation after onboarding.

Pay: $80,000.00 - $85,000.00 per year
