The Role

As a Level 2 Teaching Assistant, you will play an important role in supporting pupils' learning, development and wellbeing within a positive and inclusive school environment.

Working alongside experienced teachers and school staff, you will help pupils reach their full potential while gaining valuable experience across a variety of educational settings.

Key Responsibilities:

• Supporting classroom teachers with the delivery of engaging and interactive lessons.
• Providing one-to-one support and small group interventions to pupils who require additional assistance.
• Helping children develop their confidence, independence and academic abilities.
• Supporting pupils with Special Educational Needs and Disabilities (SEND), where required.
• Encouraging positive behaviour, classroom engagement and effective learning.
• Assisting with classroom preparation, learning resources and daily activities.
• Creating a safe, welcoming and inclusive learning environment where every pupil feels supported.

The ideal candidate will have:

• A Level 2 Teaching Assistant qualification or a recognised equivalent.
• Previous experience supporting children within a primary or secondary school setting.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

• The ability to work effectively alongside teachers and other education professionals.
• A genuine commitment to supporting children's academic, social and emotional development.
• A willingness to adapt to different classroom environments and individual learning needs.
