Join our dynamic security team as a Level 3 Armed Security Officer, where your expertise will be vital in safeguarding high-value assets, personnel, and premises. Duties

• Conduct routine patrols of the premises using CCTV systems and physical inspections to monitor for suspicious activity or security breaches
• Operate access control systems to verify identities and authorize entry for authorized personnel, visitors, and contractors
• Respond promptly to emergencies by executing established procedures such as fire drills, medical incidents, or security threats
• Handle firearm operations responsibly in accordance with legal and organizational standards while maintaining readiness for deployment when necessary
• Write detailed incident reports documenting security breaches, accidents, or unusual activities with clarity and accuracy
• Perform background checks on new employees or visitors as part of the security clearance process
• Manage conflict de-escalation techniques effectively to resolve disputes peacefully while ensuring safety for all parties involved

Qualifications

• Proven experience in armed security roles, preferably within law enforcement, military, or private security sectors
• Valid Level 3 Security license
• Demonstrated proficiency in surveillance tools such as CCTV systems and access control platforms
• First aid certification including CPR (Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation) and AED (Automated External Defibrillator) operation
• Ability to perform manual handling tasks including heavy lifting safely and efficiently
• Strong knowledge of emergency response procedures and fire safety protocols
• Excellent communication skills with a focus on customer service and conflict management

Pay: $22.00 - $27.00 per hour
