Responsibilities

• Lead and manage daily classroom activities, ensuring they align with early childhood education standards and curriculum goals
• Provide high-quality childcare that promotes social, emotional, cognitive, and physical development
• Supervise and mentor junior staff members, fostering a collaborative team environment
• Communicate effectively with children, parents, and colleagues to support individual needs and developmental milestones
• Implement safety protocols diligently to maintain a secure environment for children and staff
• Plan and execute educational programs that stimulate curiosity and encourage active learning
• Maintain accurate records of children's progress, attendance, and other essential documentation
• Drive community engagement initiatives to strengthen relationships with families and local organizations

Experience

• Proven management experience within early childhood education or childcare settings
• Extensive experience working with children in nursery or preschool environments
• Demonstrated leadership skills with the ability to motivate and guide a team effectively
• Strong understanding of early childhood development principles and childcare best practices
• Excellent communication skills in English, both verbal and written
• Valid driving license with the ability to transport children safely when required
• Prior nursery experience is highly desirable; familiarity with early childhood education frameworks is essential

Pay: £30,000.00-£64,494.00 per year
