We are seeking a highly skilled Level 3 Systems Engineer to join our team at our New Bern headquarters. This is an in-office position for a motivated professional who thrives in a fast-paced managed services environment and enjoys solving complex technical challenges.

The ideal candidate is a strong troubleshooter, effective communicator, and technical leader who can support clients, mentor teammates, and contribute to the continued success of our service organization.

What You'll Do

• Resolve advanced technical escalations and complex support issues.
• Perform troubleshooting and remediation across servers, networking, cloud platforms, and security solutions.
• Configure, maintain, and support client infrastructure and business-critical systems.
• Manage complex Microsoft 365 and Windows environments.
• Provide technical leadership and guidance to junior engineers.
• Collaborate with service and project teams to deliver effective client solutions.
• Create, update, and maintain internal and client-facing documentation.
• Identify recurring issues, determine root causes, and implement long-term solutions.
• Recommend technology, infrastructure, and security improvements to clients.
• Maintain a high level of professionalism and customer service at all times.

Required Qualifications

• Minimum 3 years of systems administration, engineering, or advanced IT support experience.
• Previous MSP experience strongly preferred.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Strong customer service and relationship management abilities.
• Excellent organizational and multitasking skills.
• Ability to prioritize and manage multiple client environments simultaneously.
• Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills.
• Team-oriented mindset with a commitment to continuous improvement.

• VMware

• Backup and disaster recovery solutions
• Storage infrastructure

Preferred MSP Tools

Additional Requirements

• Must possess reliable transportation.
• Must be able to pass a background check.
• Must be authorized to work in the United States.
• Must be able to work onsite at our New Bern, NC office.
