Key Responsibilities

• Provide high-quality care and education for children in the nursery.
• Support children's learning and development in line with the EYFS framework.
• Plan and participate in fun, engaging and age-appropriate activities.
• Help maintain a safe, clean and welcoming learning environment.
• Observe children's progress and contribute to their learning records.
• Build positive relationships with parents, carers and colleagues.
• Support children's emotional, social, physical and intellectual development.
• Follow safeguarding, health and safety policies and nursery procedures.
• Encourage inclusive practice and respond to each child's individual needs.

Essential Requirements

• A recognised Level 2 or Level 3 qualification in Early Years or Childcare.
• A genuine passion for working with young children.
• Good communication and teamwork skills.
• A caring, patient and positive attitude.
• An understanding of children's development and safeguarding responsibilities.
• A commitment to providing high-quality care and learning opportunities.
