Level 3 Vehicle Operator

We are currently hiring Level 3 Vehicle Operators to support an innovative autonomous ride-hailing technology company in San Francisco. This is an exciting opportunity to work hands-on with cutting-edge autonomous vehicle technology while contributing to the future of transportation.

Pay

$29.00 per hour

Additional shift differentials apply:

• +7.5% hourly bonus for overnight weekday shifts
• +10% hourly bonus for overnight weekend shifts
• Weekend shifts add 5% per hour in bonus pay!
• Night shifts starting at 1 p.m. or later add an additional 2% per hour in bonus pay (7% total on weekends)!

Available Shifts:

• Day Shift: 5:45am-2:15pm, 6:45am-3:15pm, or 7:45am-4:15pm
• Night Shift: 1:45pm-10:15pm, 2:45pm-11:15pm, 3:45pm-12:15am, or 5:45pm-2am
• Overnight Shift: 11:45 pm - 8:15 am

Possible schedules include:

• Wednesday – Sunday
• Thursday – Monday
• Friday – Tuesday
• Saturday – Wednesday

Responsibilities

As a Level 3 Vehicle Operator, you will:

• Drive vehicles 4–8 hours per shift with a strong focus on safety
• Support autonomous vehicle testing and operations
• Conduct basic software interaction tasks within vehicle systems
• Provide written and verbal feedback to engineering teams
• Assist with documentation and operational metrics
• Perform basic preventative vehicle maintenance checks
• Support vehicle logistics, movement, and equipment organization
• Ensure vehicles and equipment remain clean and ready for operation

Requirements

• Valid driver’s license with at least 3 years of driving history
• Ability to pass a 45 WPM typing test
• Comfortable driving for extended periods of time
• Strong communication and documentation skills
• Basic technical troubleshooting ability
• Ability to consistently work overnight shifts

Preferred Qualifications

• Technical experience or college degree
• Military experience
• Experience in operations, driving, or technical field roles
