Level I Architectural Staff

Uncommon Architects is a growing, innovative, woman-owned architectural firm committed to work-life balance, creativity, and collaboration. We’re looking for an experienced and motivated Level I or II Architectural Staff Member to collaborate on project teams throughout the design process. About the Role:

• Collaborate with project teams to develop architectural designs from concept through construction documentation and construction.
• Prepare detailed drawings, renderings, and presentations using software such as Revit, AutoCAD, and Adobe Creative Suite.
• Conducted site analyses and integrated findings into design solutions.
• Assist in creating project schedules, cost estimates, and material specifications.
• Coordinate with consultants, contractors, and other stakeholders to ensure seamless project execution.
• Stay updated on building codes, zoning regulations, and industry standards.

What We’re Looking For:

• Bachelor’s and/or Master’s degree in Architecture from an accredited program.
• 1-3 years of professional experience in architectural design (internship experience may be considered).
• Proficiency in design and drafting software (Revit and AutoCAD required).
• Strong graphic and visualization skills; proficiency in tools such as Lumion and Rhino.
• Knowledge of building codes, construction methods, and sustainable design principles.
• Excellent communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work both independently and collaboratively in a team environment.

• Competitive salary ($52,000–$58,000+ DOE)

Work Schedule Options

You can choose what works best for you:

• We have core hours five days a week with an optional hybrid schedule allowing for personal flexibility.

Additional Requirements:

• Occasional travel may be required, and most will be local however 1-2 day trips may be needed occasionally.
