LGV Class 2 Driver

Job Summary

We are a SME Transport company based in Bedminster, Bristol who are looking for LGV Class 2 Driver's to join our friendly team.

Working Mon - Fri, 7am start. This is a job and finish role, with finish times varying between 3pm and 5pm on average, this role pays a salary of £39000 per annum.

Ongoing Driver CPC training paid for by the Company.

HGV Driver Key Responsibilities:

Operate Heavy Goods Vehicle (LGV class 2) in compliance with legislation and company policies.

Conduct daily driver inspections to ensure vehicle and equipment are in safe working condition.

Deliver palletized goods to various postcodes around Bristol, using pallet trucks/motorised pallet trucks (kerbside deliveries only).

Ensure all deliveries are made accurately and within the allocated timeframes.

Ensure loads correctly secure to prevent damage and ensure safety when in transit.

Represent the company professionally at all times, and provide an excellent customer service.

Comply with all traffic laws and regulations, including hours of service and health and safety guidelines.

Report any vehicle or equipment defects immediately to the Transport Department.

Ensure vehicle is kept clean.

Attend regular driver CPC training as per legislation & ensure Vocational Driving Licence and Digital Tachograph Card is kept in date. Ongoing Driver CPC training will be provided FOC by the company.

Monday-Friday 7am start (job and finish). Guaranteed pay of 50 hrs per week

Pay: £39,000.00 per year
