About the Role
 
In this role you will join a small team and be responsible for a portfolio of complex mixed liability claims including personal injury and professional indemnity.
  
Your duties will include -

• Management a portfolio of mixed liability claims for several corporate and commercial clients.
• End to end management including investigation, negotiating settlements, and determining and advising of coverage and liability.
• Conduct claim reviews, ensure best practice.
• Management of varied claims across General Public Liability, Professional Indemnity, D&O and Employment Practices Liability including litigated and non-litigated claims.
• Assist in the development of claim processes and strategies.
• Manage complaints in an efficient and effective manner.
• Build and maintain strong mutually beneficial relationships with brokers, insurers, underwriters, and solicitors.

Skills & Experience

• Strong experience handling a variety of liability claims.
• Proven ability to manage complex, high value liability claims.
• Experience in legal (paralegal, newly qualified solicitor etc.) would be highly advantageous but not essential.
• Experience liaising with corporate clients.
• Effective communication, negotiation, conflict resolution and influencing skills.
• Proven ability to build and maintain strong relationships.
