Librarian

Dear Candidate,

We are looking for an organized, enthusiastic, and student-friendly School Librarian to manage the school library, support students and teachers, and promote a strong culture of reading and learning.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage daily library operations, including issue, return, and tracking of books.
• Organize, catalogue, and maintain library resources and records.
• Assist students in selecting age-appropriate books and developing reading habits.
• Support teachers and students with research and curriculum-related resources.
• Organize book fairs, storytelling sessions, reading programs, and literary events.
• Maintain a clean, welcoming, and disciplined library environment.
• Maintain inventory and recommend new books and learning resources.

Qualifications & Skills

• Bachelor's/Master's degree in Library Science or equivalent.
• Prior school library experience preferred.
• Knowledge of library management systems and basic computer applications.
• Good communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills.
• Passion for books, reading, and working with students.
