Job Description

• Assist the Teacher Librarian and other library staff in maintaining good services, especially managing the Teacher Resources Centre;
• Help coordinate and manage library events and activities;
• Maintain an accurate inventory of resources;
• Perform simple repairs on damaged library books and materials;
• Assist in the acquisition, cataloging, end-process things and perform daily circulation duties;
• Assist in promoting materials, e.g. preparing posters, bulletins and newsletters;
• Carry out other job duties assigned by the department/school.

Qualifications and Skills

• Hold Diploma or above in Library Studies or related discipline is preferable;
• Possess at least one year working experience in library and preferably with related experience in using the library CEO management system preferred. Fresh Library Graduates are also welcome to apply;
• Possess good communication skills in both English and Chinese, preferably including Putonghua;
• Be cheerful, positive, self-motivated and lover of books;
• Candidates with more experience may be considered as Senior Library Assistant.
• Immediate Available is highly preferred.
