Library Assistant (Full-time/ Part-time)

Duties:

1. Assist in the day-to-day operation and general management of the school library.
2. Perform clerical duties for new acquisitions, such as stamping, labeling, jacketing, and physical processing.
3. Prepare and set up library display boards, posters, and thematic promotional displays.
4. Handle the collection of library overdue fines.
5. Maintain and update notices and showcases for new book arrivals.
6. Input and update cataloging data for student books, learning resources, and teacher reference materials in the library system.
7. Organize, shelf, and maintain the library's magazine and periodical collections.
8. Assist in the purchasing and procurement process for student reading books and library materials.

Requirements:

• Good command of spoken and written Chinese and English.
• Good interpersonal and communication skills.
• Experience in working in a school library is preferred.
• Proficiency in library management systems and standard office software applications is preferred.
