Responsibilities

• Interpret and work from detailed blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings to complete electrical installations and repairs.
• Install, maintain, and troubleshoot electrical systems including low voltage wiring and industrial electrical components.
• Use hand tools and power tools safely and effectively to perform wiring, conduit bending, panel assembly, and other electrical tasks.
• Conduct renovation projects by upgrading existing electrical systems or installing new infrastructure in commercial or industrial settings.
• Diagnose electrical issues using schematics and troubleshooting techniques; implement effective solutions promptly.
• Ensure all work complies with local electrical codes, safety standards, and company policies.
• Collaborate with other tradespeople such as carpenters or handymen during construction or renovation projects to ensure seamless project execution.

Skills

• Proven experience as a licensed 309A Journeyman with a strong background in industrial electrician work.
• Proficiency in reading blueprints, schematics, and technical diagrams related to electrical systems.
• Solid understanding of low voltage systems, and circuit troubleshooting.
• Hands-on experience with hand tools, power tools, conduit bending, wiring techniques, and electrical installation methods.
• Knowledge of construction processes, renovation procedures, and safety protocols in industrial environments.
• Ability to perform maintenance on electrical systems while adhering to all relevant codes and standards.
• Excellent problem-solving skills combined with a proactive approach to safety and quality assurance.

Pay: $38.00-$46.00 per hour
