Compensation

This is a commission-based position at a busy, established clinic. The clinic and practitioner split the revenue from each service 50/50. The clinic provides the treatment space, scheduling support, supplies, and an existing patient base to help the practitioner build a successful schedule.

Acupuncture and Herbal Medicine of Tampa is a growing holistic wellness clinic offering acupuncture, Chinese herbal medicine, cupping, facial rejuvenation, massage therapy, and other complementary services. We are seeking a Licensed Acupuncturist who is dependable, professional, and passionate about helping patients improve their health and overall well-being. This position is ideal for someone who enjoys building lasting patient relationships and wants to grow with a supportive, patient-centered practice.

Responsibilities

• Provide safe, individualized acupuncture treatments based on each patient’s health concerns and wellness goals
• Conduct initial consultations, review medical histories, and develop appropriate treatment plans
• Evaluate patients’ progress and adjust treatment plans as needed
• Provide additional services within the practitioner’s training and scope of practice, such as cupping, gua sha, electroacupuncture, moxibustion, or herbal consultations
• Educate patients about their treatment plans and provide clear, compassionate aftercare guidance
• Maintain accurate and timely patient records using the clinic’s electronic health record and scheduling system
• Follow all sanitation, clean-needle, safety, privacy, and infection-control requirements
• Keep treatment rooms clean, organized, and properly stocked
• Communicate professionally with patients, clinic staff, and other providers
• Support patient retention through attentive care, follow-up recommendations, and a positive patient experience
• Represent the clinic professionally and contribute to a welcoming, team-oriented environment

Qualifications

• Current and unrestricted Florida acupuncture license
• Graduate of an accredited acupuncture and Oriental medicine program
• Current professional liability insurance
• Knowledge of Traditional Chinese Medicine, acupuncture point selection, and individualized treatment planning
• Strong patient communication and interpersonal skills
• Professional, reliable, organized, and able to work independently
• Comfortable using electronic health records, online scheduling systems, and basic office technology
• Commitment to patient privacy, ethical care, and maintaining a clean treatment environment

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience providing acupuncture in a private practice or wellness clinic
• Training or experience in Chinese herbal medicine
• Experience with cupping, gua sha, electroacupuncture, moxibustion, facial acupuncture, fertility support, or pain management
• Interest in building a long-term patient base and growing with the clinic
• An existing local patient following is a plus but not required
