Job Overview

We are seeking a passionate and skilled Licensed Acupuncturist to join our dynamic healthcare team. Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough patient assessments including physical examinations, medical history review, and diagnosis using healthcare terminology and diagnostic techniques.
• Develop and implement customized acupuncture treatment plans targeting acute pain management, trigger point therapy, and general wellness needs.
• Perform acupuncture procedures with precision, adhering to aseptic techniques and ensuring patient comfort and safety throughout each session.
• Utilize herbal medicine techniques alongside acupuncture to enhance treatment outcomes when appropriate.
• Manage electronic health records (EHR/EHR) systems efficiently for documentation of patient visits, treatment notes, and progress tracking.
• Collaborate closely with other healthcare professionals such as physicians, chiropractors, or physical therapists to coordinate comprehensive patient care.
• Educate patients on pain management strategies, physiology concepts, and lifestyle modifications to support ongoing health improvements.

Qualifications

• Valid licensure as a Licensed Acupuncturist with certification in acupuncture and herbal medicine from an accredited program.
• Proven experience in pain medicine, acute pain management, trigger point therapy, and client communication skills.
• Strong knowledge of anatomy, physiology, medical terminology, and physical examination techniques relevant to acupuncture practice.
• Demonstrated ability to perform direct patient care with a focus on safety, aseptic technique, and effective patient assessment.
• Experience working within a multidisciplinary healthcare team to optimize patient outcomes.
• Excellent interpersonal skills with a compassionate approach to patient service and education.
