Licensed Acupuncturist

CORE El Centro is seeking a highly motivated and skilled Acupuncturist who has a passion for holistic health and wellness and wants to help support our clients in their healing journey. POSITION SUMMARY
The Acupuncture Practitioner provides high-quality acupuncture and Chinese medicine services within a trauma-informed, community-based setting. Services include both individual and community acupuncture.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

• Assess clients and create individualized treatment plans.
• Provide acupuncture treatments in both private and community settings in accordance with Wisconsin licensure standards.
• Maintain accurate, timely documentation per CORE policies and grant requirements.
• Educate clients on wellness and prevention strategies.
• Refer clients to other CORE services when appropriate.
• Collaborate with staff and participate in team meetings.
• Follow safety, infection-control, and organizational policies.
• Support continuity of care, including occasional shift coverage.

TRAUMA-INFORMED & COMMUNITY CARE

• Deliver care grounded in safety, trust, collaboration, and empowerment.
• Work effectively with clients impacted by trauma, violence, chronic illness, or systemic barriers.
• Maintain strong professional boundaries and engage in self-care to manage the emotional demands of community health work.

QUALIFICATIONS

• Current Wisconsin Acupuncturist license and professional liability insurance.
• Experience providing culturally responsive, trauma-informed care.
• Strong communication and teamwork skills.
• Preferred: Two or more years of clinical experience; bilingual Spanish/English.
• Flexible availability.
