Blue Ova is a leading women-owned integrative health center in San Francisco specializing in fertility, pregnancy, postnatal and menopausal care. We offer acupuncture, functional medicine and nutritional support, all delivered in a warm, collaborative environment. We operate a busy practice with five private treatment rooms and are fully supported by a stellar front office team.

About the Role:

We’re looking for a talented and compassionate Licensed Acupuncturist to join our thriving team. This is a unique opportunity to be part of a mission-driven group practice focused on empowering women through every stage of their reproductive journey.

This part-time position is for:

• Saturdays 8:30am-3:30pm
• Sundays 8:30am-3:30pm

Who you are:

You are eager to join a team that values women’s health, wellness, and community. Candidate should have a passion and some experience in treating fertility, pregnancy, postnatal and menopause patients, and a desire to grow in this field. We are a group practice and you should value collaboration and constant learning. Blue Ova is a busy office and candidate should thrive working in a fast pace, yet calming, environment.

Necessary Skills:

• Professional, dedicated and hard working.
• Excellent client rapport.
• Brings both passion for women’s health and compassion in patient care.
• Experience or strong interest in working with fertility, pregnancy, postpartum, perimenopause, and reproductive health populations.
• Client management: Able to treat 2 clients an hour to start, and with training able to treat 3 clients per hour
• EMR experience with clear, efficient note-taking skills.
• Gentle needle insertion technique.
• Flexible, coachable, and open to collaborative mentoring and ongoing training in our proprietary method.
• Works collaboratively as a team, since our clients are shared
• Able to communicate with clients about recommended nutritional supplements and prescribed Chinese herbal formulas
• Must thrive in fast paced environments.
• Looking for long-term commitment.
• Love being part of a team and excited by new ideas.
