Licensed Administrator

We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Licensed Administrator to oversee the operations of our General Residential Operation The ideal candidate will hold a current license from the Texas Department of Family and Protective Services (TDFPS) as a childcare administrator and possess at least two years of experience working with children with emotional disturbances. This role is vital in ensuring the efficient functioning of our facility, compliance with all applicable laws and regulations, and the implementation of policies that support our mission to provide quality care.

Duties

• Ensure the smooth and efficient operation of general residential services, maintaining high standards of care and safety.
• Implement policies and procedures approved by the Board, ensuring consistency and adherence across all levels of staff.
• Oversee compliance with all relevant laws, rules, and regulations governing residential treatment centers, including licensing requirements.
• Make informed recommendations to the Executive Director regarding operational improvements, policy updates, and strategic planning.
• Supervise staff to promote a positive work environment focused on delivering exceptional care to children with emotional disturbances.
• Monitor resident care plans and ensure individualized treatment goals are met in accordance with regulatory standards.
• Maintain accurate documentation related to licensing, staff credentials, incident reports, and other regulatory requirements.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to support the well-being and development of residents.

Requirements

• Current license from the Texas Department of Family and Protective Services (TDFPS) as a childcare administrator.
• A minimum of two years’ experience working directly with children experiencing emotional disturbances.
• Strong knowledge of laws, rules, and regulations related to residential treatment centers in Texas.
• Proven leadership skills with the ability to supervise staff effectively and foster a collaborative team environment.
• Excellent organizational skills with attention to detail in documentation and compliance activities.
• Ability to make sound recommendations based on operational data and regulatory guidelines.
• Exceptional communication skills for liaising with staff, regulatory agencies, families, and community partners.

Pay: $36.71 - $44.21 per hour

Expected hours: 30.0 – 40.0 per week
