What they need
Licensed Aircraft Engineer (LAME)
Looking for a change? Join a team where your experience is genuinely valued.
Tired of feeling like just another employee?
Following our recruitment campaign last month, we’re pleased to have successfully filled that position. With continued growth and increasing workload, we’re now looking for another Licensed Aircraft Engineer to join our team.
At Repaircraft Nelson, we're building a team of skilled engineers who enjoy coming to work, take pride in what they do, and want to be part of a business that's continuing to grow. Our team includes six experienced engineers supported by four dedicated office staff, allowing our engineers to focus on what they do best.
We are particularly interested in engineers who hold Group 1 and/or Group 2 airframe and engine ratings, and/or Jetstream ratings. However, we’re still happy to hear from other experienced Aircraft Engineers who may be a good fit for our team.
Whether you're looking for a better lifestyle, more varied aircraft, or simply a workplace where your contribution is recognised, we'd love to talk.
Based at beautiful Nelson Airport, Repaircraft is a CAA Part 145 maintenance organisation working across both fixed-wing and rotary aircraft.
Why join Repaircraft?
We know experienced engineers have options, so we're committed to offering more than just another job.
You'll enjoy:
- Competitive remuneration based on experience and licence ratings
- A genuine work-life balance with standard hours of 8:00 am to 4:30 pm Monday to Friday, plus optional weekend work when available
- A friendly, supportive team where everyone knows each other
- A wide variety of interesting aircraft and maintenance work
- Ongoing training and professional development
- Opportunities to help shape and improve our growing organisation
- Relocation assistance may be available for the right applicant
About the role
No two days are the same.
You'll be involved in scheduled maintenance, inspections, fault diagnosis, repairs and certification work across both fixed-wing and rotary aircraft, working with an experienced team that values quality workmanship and practical problem-solving.
You'll have the opportunity to use your technical knowledge while enjoying the variety that comes from working in an independent maintenance organisation.
About you
We're particularly keen to hear from engineers who:
- Hold a current Aircraft Maintenance Engineer Licence (LAME)
- Hold Group 1 and/or Group 2 airframe and engine ratings, and/or Jetstream ratings
- Take pride in producing high-quality work
- Enjoy solving technical problems
- Value teamwork and professionalism
- Want to continue learning and developing
