Responsibilities

• Perform a wide range of nail services including manicures, pedicures, gel manicures, acrylic and nail extension applications with precision and artistry.
• Apply advanced techniques such as nail art based on color theory principles to craft unique designs tailored to each client’s preferences.
• Conduct esthetic treatments like dermabrasion, body waxing, eyelash extensions, and laser procedures when qualified.
• Maintain strict salon safety protocols by adhering to sanitation and disinfection procedures to ensure a clean and safe environment.
• Communicate effectively with clients to understand their needs, provide expert recommendations, and upsell retail products related to nail care and beauty.
• Stay current with industry trends in nail care, hair styling, and esthetic treatments to continually enhance your skill set.
• Manage retail sales efficiently using retail math skills to maximize product recommendations while ensuring excellent customer service.

Requirements

• Valid cosmetology or esthetician license with specialized certification in nail technology.
• Proven experience working as a professional nail technician in a busy salon or spa setting.
• Strong knowledge of color theory, nail extensions, gel manicures, acrylic application, and sanitation standards.
• Excellent communication skills with the ability to connect with diverse clients and understand their beauty goals.
• Familiarity with salon safety protocols including disinfection procedures and client care best practices.
• Ability to perform detailed nail care services such as manicure, pedicure, hair extensions, hair styling, barbering, body waxing, eyelash extensions, and hair threading when applicable.
• Demonstrated retail sales skills with a focus on upselling beauty products confidently.
• Existing or partially existing clientele is a huge plus!
