Licensed Architect

Key Responsibilities

• Develop architectural concepts, layouts, plans, elevations, sections, and construction details.
• Prepare and review architectural drawings, specifications, schedules, and technical documentation.
• Produce detailed design, tender, IFC, shop drawing, and as-built documentation as required.
• Coordinate architectural designs with structural, mechanical, electrical, plumbing, fire protection, and other engineering disciplines.
• Review drawings and identify design conflicts, discrepancies, and constructability issues.
• Ensure compliance with applicable building codes, zoning regulations, accessibility requirements, fire and life-safety standards, and project specifications.
• Prepare design presentations, material selections, finish schedules, and architectural details.
• Coordinate with clients, consultants, contractors, suppliers, and project management teams.
• Review contractor submittals, shop drawings, material samples, and technical proposals.
• Respond to RFIs, technical queries, and site coordination issues.
• Conduct site inspections to verify that construction work complies with approved drawings and specifications.
• Monitor architectural works and recommend corrective actions when deviations are identified.
• Review architectural finishes, doors, windows, ceilings, wall systems, flooring, roofing, façades, and other building components.
• Assist in resolving design changes and construction-related issues.
• Prepare drawing revisions and maintain proper document and revision control.
• Participate in design coordination, technical, and construction meetings.
• Prepare preliminary cost-related information, material quantities, and specifications when required.
• Coordinate architectural requirements with procurement and construction schedules.
• Ensure that designs balance aesthetics, functionality, safety, durability, constructability, and cost efficiency.
• Provide professional architectural advice throughout the project lifecycle.
• Review completed works and assist with punch-list, handover, and closeout activities.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in Architecture.
• Registered and Licensed Architect.
• Relevant professional experience in architectural design, documentation, coordination, and construction.
• Strong knowledge of architectural design principles, construction methods, materials, and detailing.
• Good understanding of building codes and regulatory requirements.
• Strong technical drawing and documentation skills.
• Ability to coordinate effectively with multidisciplinary engineering and construction teams.
