• Perform a variety of hair styling techniques such as fades, tapers, and intricate designs tailored to client preferences.
• Apply hair coloring, hair extensions, and other cosmetic treatments to meet client needs.
• Maintain impeccable sanitation standards by cleaning tools and workstations according to health regulations.
• Deliver exceptional customer service by engaging clients with friendly communication, listening carefully to their requests, and offering expert advice on styles and products.
• Manage retail sales of hair care products, accessories, and grooming supplies through upselling techniques.
• Assist with store management tasks including front desk duties, appointment scheduling, and mentoring new team members.

Skills

• Proficiency with salon software systems such as MINDBODY for scheduling and client management.
• Extensive experience working in the beauty industry with a focus on barbering, hair coloring, and styling.
• Strong knowledge of sanitation practices to ensure a safe environment for clients and staff.
• Skilled in hair threading, eyelash extensions, makeup application, and nail care for comprehensive beauty services.
• Excellent communication skills to connect with diverse clients and collaborate effectively with team members.
• Ability to perform retail math for upselling products confidently while maintaining excellent customer relationships.
• Familiarity with store management operations including front desk responsibilities and mentoring staff members.
