Duties

• Perform professional barbering services including haircuts, shaves, beard trims, and grooming treatments with precision and care.
• Utilize advanced techniques such as straight razor shaves, hair coloring, hair extensions, and eyelash extensions to meet client needs.
• Maintain impeccable sanitation standards by properly sterilizing tools and adhering to health regulations.
• Provide expert advice on hair care routines, styling options, and product recommendations to enhance client satisfaction.
• Use salon management software such as Square to schedule appointments, manage client records, and process retail sales efficiently.
• Assist at the front desk by welcoming clients, managing bookings, and ensuring smooth daily operations.
• Mentor junior team members by sharing knowledge on hair styling, coloring, threading, makeup application, and retail upselling strategies.

Skills

• Proven experience working in the beauty industry with a strong background in barbering and cosmetology.
• Proficiency with salon software like Square for appointment scheduling and client management.
• Skilled in sanitation practices to uphold health standards within the salon environment.
• Excellent communication skills for client consultation and building lasting relationships.
• Ability to perform retail sales through upselling products such as hair care items or grooming tools while maintaining a focus on customer needs.
