Licensed Barber

Job Summary
We are seeking a talented and passionate individuals to join our team as a licensed barber/cosmotologist. In this role, you will be responsible for providing exceptional hair and beauty services while ensuring a welcoming and professional environment for our clients. You will utilize your skills in hair styling, customer service, and salon management to enhance the overall client experience and contribute to the success of our salon.

Responsibilities

• Provide a range of hair services including cutting, coloring, and styling using techniques such as straight razor cutting and hair threading.
• Maintain high standards of sanitation and cleanliness throughout the salon.
• Utilize salon software, specifically Booksy, for scheduling appointments.
• Deliver outstanding customer service by building rapport with clients and addressing their needs effectively.
• Mentor junior staff members in cosmetology practices, customer service skills, and retail math concepts.
• Assist front desk operations including greeting clients, answering inquiries, and handling transactions efficiently.
• Stay updated on color theory trends and techniques to provide informed recommendations to clients.
• Collaborate with team members to create a positive work environment that encourages growth and teamwork.

Requirements

• Valid cosmetology or barbering license is required.
• Proven experience in hair styling, color application, and related beauty services.
• Strong communication skills to effectively interact with clients and team members.
• Familiarity with salon software systems; experience with Booksy is a plus.
• Knowledge of sanitation practices in a salon environment.
• Ability to mentor others and provide guidance in beauty techniques.
• Retail sales experience preferred; ability to understand retail math is advantageous.

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time

Pay: $200.00 - $1,000.00 per week

Expected hours: 40.0 – 55.0 per week
