Responsibilities

• Provide professional barbering services including haircutting, shaving, beard trimming, and styling using techniques such as straight razor shaves and clipper cuts.
• Perform hair coloring, hair extensions, and hair threading to meet client preferences and enhance their look.
• Maintain high standards of sanitation and hygiene by properly sterilizing tools and adhering to health regulations.
• Offer expert advice on hair care routines, product recommendations, and styling tips tailored to each client’s needs.
• Manage client communication effectively, ensuring clear understanding of services provided and upselling retail products when appropriate.
• Utilize salon management software such as MINDBODY for scheduling appointments, processing transactions, and maintaining client records.
• Assist with front desk duties including greeting clients, managing appointments, and supporting store management tasks as needed.

Skills

• Proven experience working in the beauty industry with a strong background in barbering and cosmetology.
• Proficiency with salon software like MINDBODY for booking and retail sales management.
• Skilled in hair styling, coloring, hair extensions, eyelash extensions, makeup application, and nail care.
• Knowledge of sanitation procedures to ensure a safe environment for clients and staff.
• Excellent communication skills for client consultation, retail upselling, and team collaboration.
• Ability to mentor junior staff members and contribute positively to team dynamics.
• Strong retail math skills for accurate product sales and inventory management.

Pay: $30.00 - $60.00 per hour
