Joey’s Barbershop is a new, modern barbershop in Lee’s Summit built around great haircuts, good vibes, and an experience that makes clients actually look forward to coming back.

We’re looking for talented, motivated barbers who want to grow with a new shop and build a strong clientele.

We’re looking for barbers who:

• Take pride in their work and genuinely care about their clients
• Are confident with modern men’s cuts, including tapers, fades, burst fades, textured styles, and longer men’s hairstyles
• Can also execute classic cuts and traditional barbering
• Have strong attention to detail
• Are friendly, professional, and comfortable talking with clients
• Show up on time and communicate reliably
• Want to build a loyal clientele rather than simply cut hair and leave
• Are comfortable creating a fun, relaxed atmosphere
• Are interested in growing their personal brand and social media presence
• Are willing to be part of a team and contribute to a positive shop culture

Experienced barbers are preferred, but motivated barbers who are confident in their skills are encouraged to apply.

Responsibilities

• Provide high-quality men’s haircuts and barbering services
• Consult with clients to understand what they want
• Maintain a clean and professional workstation
• Provide an excellent client experience
• Build relationships that encourage repeat business
• Maintain punctuality and reliable communication
• Follow shop standards and contribute to a positive environment
• Promote yourself and the shop when appropriate
• Help create photo/video content when comfortable doing so
• Maintain professional appearance and behavior
