Responsibilities

• Perform professional barbering services such as haircuts, beard trims, straight razor shaves, and grooming consultations with precision and flair
• Maintain high standards of sanitation and cleanliness in accordance with health regulations and store policies
• Engage with clients to understand their desired styles and provide expert recommendations on hair care, coloring, extensions, or threading
• Utilize salon software like MINDBODY to schedule appointments, manage client records, and process retail sales efficiently
• Upsell retail products including hair care items, styling tools, and grooming essentials to enhance client satisfaction and store revenue
• Offer mentorship and support to new team members or apprentices to foster a collaborative environment
• Manage front desk duties such as greeting clients, answering inquiries, and ensuring smooth appointment flow

Requirements

• Valid cosmetology or barbering license with current certification to practice professionally
• Proven experience working in the beauty industry with a focus on barbering techniques and client service excellence
• Strong knowledge of hair styling, coloring, hair extensions, eyelash extensions, nail care, and hair threading
• Familiarity with salon software systems like MINDBODY for scheduling and retail management
• Excellent communication skills to connect effectively with clients and team members
• Ability to uphold sanitation standards rigorously while working in a fast-paced environment
• Knowledge of store management principles including retail math and upselling strategies
• Passion for continuous learning about new trends in hair care, color theory, and grooming techniques

Pay: $30.37 - $36.58 per hour
