• Provide professional barbering services including haircuts, shaves, beard trims, and styling using various techniques such as straight razor work and hair coloring.
• Perform advanced hair treatments like hair extensions, threading, eyelash extensions, and nail care to meet client needs.
• Maintain impeccable sanitation standards by thoroughly cleaning tools, stations, and ensuring compliance with health regulations.
• Utilize salon software such as MINDBODY to schedule appointments, manage client records, and process retail sales efficiently.
• Engage with clients through effective communication, understanding their preferences, offering styling advice, and upselling retail products like hair care items or accessories.
• Manage front desk responsibilities including greeting clients, checking in appointments, and handling client inquiries with professionalism.
• Mentor junior team members by sharing techniques in hair styling, coloring, and retail sales strategies to foster a collaborative environment.

Qualifications

• Valid cosmetology or barbering license from an accredited program.
• Proven experience working in the beauty industry with skills in barbering, hair styling, coloring, and sanitation practices.
• Familiarity with salon software systems such as MINDBODY for appointment booking and client management.
• Strong knowledge of color theory, hair care products, and retail math for upselling opportunities.
• Excellent communication skills to connect effectively with clients and team members.
• Ability to perform specialized services including hair extensions, eyelash extensions, threading, and nail care when required.
• Demonstrated store management skills or experience overseeing salon operations is a plus.
