Licensed Barber - Full-Time / Part-Time

Vivant Barbershop is growing, and we’re looking for the right barber to grow with us.

Built by a barber, for barbers who want to keep improving their craft.

We’re not necessarily looking for the most experienced barber in San Diego. We’re looking for someone who takes barbering seriously, cares about the quality of their work, treats clients well, and genuinely wants to get better.

If you’re coachable, reliable, passionate about the craft, and looking for an environment where you can build your clientele while continuing to develop your skills, we’d like to meet you.

Who We’re Looking For

• Active California Barber or Cosmetology License
• Professional and reliable
• Strong customer service skills
• Passionate about barbering
• Coachable and open to feedback
• Willing to continue learning and improving
• Takes pride in their appearance, work and station
• Interested in building a long-term career in the industry

Experience is valuable, but it is not everything.

Attitude, discipline, professionalism and willingness to learn matter more to us.

Your Role

• Provide high-quality barbering and men’s grooming services
• Conduct professional client consultations
• Deliver a consistent client experience
• Maintain a clean and organized workstation
• Manage your schedule responsibly
• Continue developing your technical skills
• Contribute positively to the shop environment and culture

Compensation

Estimated earnings: $20–$45 per hour + tips

Actual earnings vary based on services performed, schedule and client volume.

Barbers keep 100% of their tips.
