Licensed Behavior Analyst

The Licensed Behavior Analyst is responsible for planning, implementing Applied Behavior Analysis treatment plans for St. Mary’s Kids @ Roslyn Department. Supports mission to provide the highest quality care by complying with regulatory guidelines, meeting facility standards, and obtaining appropriate certification.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES

1. Complete assessments including the VB-MAPP, AFLS, SKILLS, and FBAs

2. Write reports as led by assessment, including treatment plans, and behavior intervention plans

3. Analyzes goal and behavior data

4. Provide direct and indirect supervision to ABA Therapists and RBTs

5. Develops and monitors treatment plans including but not limited to creating programs and stimuli

6. Provide Parent Training as approved by funder

7. Provides feedback to staff when opportunities for improvement/excellence are observed

8. Submits written reports within established time frames.

9. Fosters practices consistent with the organization’s mission, vision and values; and family-centered care.

10. Provides adequate opportunity for staff training and education.

11. Work afternoons and evenings, if needed or requested

12. Participates in regular department meetings with staff.

• Formal education required:

  • A Master's or Doctoral degree in Psychology, Social Work, Education or a related field
  • BCBA and LBA required

  Previous experience required:

  • At least 3 years of experience working with individuals with autism or related developmental disabilities
  • Knowledge and experience in developing and implementing Behavioral Intervention Plans for individuals with challenging behavior
  • Knowledge and experience in developing and implementing skill acquisition treatment plans for individuals with developmental disabilities
