Licensed Chemist

Dr, Cayetano is inviting early career individuals to join her Service Lab/Research team with the following work engagement:

Title: Licensed Chemist

Work Progression: Probationary to Regular Employment (with basic employment benefits)

Qualifications: Exemplifies Soft-skills. Bachelor of Science Major in Food Technology, Microbiology, Chemistry or related courses. Research experience is an advantage (undergrad writing manuscripts are acceptable). Fresh-grads are welcome. For Board passers, salary may be commensurate accordingly.

Gross monthly salary: PhP 25,000 - PhP 30, 000 depending on the qualifications

Working hours: 8 hrs per day, Mon-Saturday, between 8am to 7pm, lunch break not included in the 8 hours of work.

Work Station: Lab/desk work, on-site (DMGC, 33 Bautista St. Taytay, Rizal)

Responsibilities:

ESSENTIAL and IMPORTANT: To work collaboratively in a team, respecting professional norms directly reporting to Dr. Mylene G. Cayetano.

• To document and write narrative reports pertaining to office and research-gathered information including minutes of the meeting, documentation of project meetings, discussions, etc.
• To draft manuals and protocols in relation to project and office-related tasks.
• To gather, receive, document, encode, process and archive samples from the Projects, in close coordination with Dr. Mylene G. Cayetano.
• To conduct sampling and analysis of environmental samples for research and services. Relevant training and manuals will be provided.
• To conduct information dissemination in the form of education and communication with the stakeholders relevant to the project at hand.
• To prepare presentation materials in relation to the project at hand.
• To actively participate in research team meetings to discuss data collection activities, transcribed data, and proposed implementation strategies.
• To gather secondary data through field and household surveys based on Project protocols.
• To represent Dr. Mylene G. Cayetano is meetings and training that may be assigned in relation to projects and research.
• To participate in continuing professional development programs that may be recommended by DMGC.
• In extreme situations, may work long hours or on an irregular schedule, especially on needed situations or incidents that are relevant to the DMGC office and its projects.
• To maintain the cleanliness and orderliness of the office/laboratory, following excellent safety, health and occupational protocols.
• Other tasks that may be assigned by Dr. Mylene G. Cayetano, and in relation to the tasks as Project development assistant.

Job Type: Permanent

Pay: Php25,000.00 - Php30,000.00 per month
