Licensed Chemist

The Licensed Chemist makes chemical analyses of the components in the chemical process line, recommending to the process line chemical replenishment, optimization, calibration, and maintenance of analytical equipment and apparatus, controls and inventory of analytical equipment, making cause and effect analysis, assessing and qualifying new chemicals making reliability testing, supporting drive to reduce and eliminate solid and hazardous waste, making standard criteria of qualifying new chemicals in the process. The Licensed Chemist also coordinates with Process Engineers regarding the findings in the chemical behavior of the chemicals in the line and recommends solutions to problems related to chemicals.

JOB QUALIFICATIONS

• College Graduate with a degree of Bachelor of Science in Chemistry
• Knowledge in Chemical Analysis and Instrumentation
• Knowledge in Spectrophotometry (AAS, UV-Vis)
• Knowledge in Basic Microsoft Office
• Knowledge in Gravimetry, Titration, and other wet analysis
• Must be a licensed Chemist
