This is an opportunity for an experienced CDL instructor who wants a stable four-day workweek while using their professional driving and instructional experience to help individuals prepare for successful employment and reentry following release.

- Regularly report trainee progress, instructional activity, training hours, and program status to the CDL Training Manager and Chief Operating Officer.
- Coordinate CDL skills-test scheduling with appropriate internal staff.
- Promptly notify management and appropriate staff of truck, trailer, or other training-equipment concerns.
- Maintain a safe, organized, and professional training environment.
- Participate in trainee graduation ceremonies and other program-related activities.
Qualifications:
- Valid Class A Commercial Driver's License — Required
- Current CDL Instructor License issued by the Ohio Department of Public Safety — Required
- Prior experience providing commercial driver training

Correctional Institution Training:
Prior correctional-institution experience is not required.
The selected candidate will receive correctional-institution contractor training to ensure a clear understanding of the institutional policies, procedures, security requirements, and operating rules applicable to the training environment.
