Responsibilities

• Perform a variety of hair services including cutting, styling, coloring, extensions, and texturizing treatments to meet each client’s unique needs.
• Utilize advanced techniques such as balayage, highlights, lowlights, to create customized looks.
• Maintain strict sanitation standards by properly cleaning tools and workstations in accordance with health regulations.
• Offer professional advice on hair care routines, product recommendations, and retail sales to enhance client satisfaction.
• Manage client appointments efficiently.
• Provide exceptional client communication by listening attentively and ensuring clients feel valued throughout their visit.
• Assist with store management tasks including front desk responsibilities, inventory management, and mentoring new team members.
• Upsell salon products like hair care items, makeup, nail care products, and eyelash extensions to boost retail revenue.

Qualifications

• Valid cosmetology license with experience working in the beauty industry; or esthetician licenses are a plus.
• Proficiency in appointment scheduling and client management.
• Strong knowledge of hair coloring techniques, hair extensions, and the latest styling trends.
• Skilled in sanitation practices to ensure a safe environment for clients and staff.
• Excellent communication skills for client consultations and team collaboration.
• Experience with retail sales, upselling techniques, and retail math to maximize revenue opportunities.
• Ability to perform specialized services including eyelash extensions, makeup application, and use of straight razors when appropriate.
• Passionate about continuous learning in areas like color theory, hair care innovations, and new styling methods.
• Commission /Booth rental options.
