Responsibilities

• All nail services
• Perform grooming services such as beard trimming, straight razor shaves, and hair threading with precision and care.
• Deliver expert eyelash extensions, makeup application, and nail care treatments to enhance clients’ overall look.
• Maintain impeccable sanitation standards by thoroughly cleaning tools and workstations after each service.
• Utilize salon software like MINDBODY for appointment scheduling, client management, and retail sales tracking.
• Engage with clients through effective communication to understand their needs and recommend suitable products or services.
• Upsell retail products such as hair care items, cosmetics, and accessories to maximize client satisfaction and store revenue.
• Manage front desk responsibilities including greeting guests, booking appointments, and handling payments efficiently.
• Mentor junior team members by sharing techniques in hair styling, coloring, and customer service best practices.
• Stay current with industry trends in hair coloring theory, barbering techniques, and new beauty treatments to continually elevate your skills.

Qualifications

• Valid cosmetology license or certification as required by state law.
• Proven experience working in the beauty industry with a strong portfolio of hairstyling, coloring, and grooming services.
• Proficiency in salon software such as MINDBODY for scheduling and client management.
• Knowledge of sanitation protocols to ensure a safe environment for clients and staff.
• Skilled in various hair techniques including hair extensions, balayage, highlights, and color correction based on color theory principles.
• Experience with retail sales strategies like upselling and retail math to increase product sales effectively.
• Excellent communication skills for engaging clients confidently during consultations and service delivery.
• Ability to work efficiently at the front desk managing appointments while maintaining a welcoming atmosphere.
• Familiarity with specialized services such as eyelash extensions, makeup application, nail care, and hair threading is a plus.

Must have at least one year experience

Pay: $20.00 - $75.00 per hour
