Duties

• Provide professional hair styling, cutting, coloring, and extension services to meet each client’s unique preferences.
• Perform a variety of nail treatments including manicures, gel manicures, acrylic nail application, nail extensions, and pedicures while maintaining strict sanitation standards.
• Deliver skincare services such as dermabrasion, esthetic laser treatments, body waxing, and eyelash extensions to enhance clients’ natural beauty.
• Apply color theory principles to achieve desired hair and nail color results while ensuring proper disinfection procedures are followed for all tools and surfaces.
• Communicate effectively with clients to understand their needs, offer recommendations, and upsell retail products like hair care or skincare items.
• Maintain salon safety protocols and sanitation standards to ensure a clean, safe environment for both clients and staff.
• Stay informed about the latest industry trends in hair styling, nail art, and skincare techniques to provide innovative services that exceed expectations.

Qualifications

• Valid state cosmetology license with comprehensive knowledge of salon safety protocols and sanitation practices.
• Proven experience working in the beauty industry with skills in hair styling, coloring, extensions, manicures, pedicures, and skin treatments.
• Strong understanding of color theory, disinfection procedures, and nail care techniques including gel manicures and acrylic application.
• Excellent communication skills with the ability to connect with diverse clients and understand their beauty goals.
• Ability to perform multiple services efficiently while maintaining high-quality standards.
• Knowledge of retail sales techniques including upselling products that complement client treatments.
• Experience with specialized treatments such as eyelash extensions, dermabrasion, esthetic laser therapy, hair threading, body waxing, and barbering is a plus.
