Position Summary

We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Dental Assistant to join our team. This role is essential in delivering high-quality patient care and ensuring the smooth operation of daily clinical procedures. The ideal candidate is a team player with a strong knowledge of dental practices, excellent communication skills, and a passion for helping others.

Responsibilities

• Assist dentists during examinations and procedures, ensuring a smooth workflow.
• Prepare and sterilize instruments and equipment in compliance with safety protocols.
• Take and dental radiographs (X-rays) as needed.
• Maintain accurate medical documentation and patient records, adhering to HIPAA regulations.
• Educate patients on proper oral hygiene practices and post-treatment care.
• Manage appointment scheduling and assist with front desk duties as necessary.
• Support various dental specialties including general dentistry, endodontics, and prosthodontics.
• Utilize Eaglesoft software for patient management and record keeping.

Requirements

• Previous experience as a Dental Assistant (required)
• Coronal Polishing Certification (recommended)
• Knowledge of HIPAA regulations to ensure patient confidentiality.
• Proficiency in medical documentation practices.
• Experience with Eaglesoft or similar dental software is a plus.
• Strong understanding of anatomy related to dental health.
• Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to communicate effectively with patients and team members.
• Ability to multitask and prioritize responsibilities in a busy clinical setting.
• A commitment to providing high-quality patient care while maintaining a positive attitude.

Tuesday 8am-4pm

Wednesday 8am-4pm

Thursday 8am-4pm

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time

Pay: $16.00 - $22.00 per hour
