Licensed Driving Instructor

Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Driving Instructor to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for educating students on safe driving practices, traffic laws, and vehicle operation. This role requires excellent communication skills, a passion for teaching, and the ability to guide and manage students effectively during behind-the-wheel lessons. The Driving Instructor will play a crucial role in preparing students to become responsible and confident drivers.

Duties

• Educate students on the rules of the road and safe driving techniques through behind-the-wheel training.
• Communicate clearly with students to explain complex driving concepts in an understandable manner.
• Assess student progress through evaluations and provide constructive feedback to enhance their driving skills.
• Maintain accurate records of student progress, and performance throughout the training program.
• Stay updated on state driving regulations and incorporate any changes into the curriculum as necessary.

Experience

• Prior experience teaching behind-the-wheel lessons is preferred.
• Previous experience working with students in an educational setting is highly desirable.
• Familiarity with adult education principles is a plus, as you may be instructing teen, adults, and seniors.
• Proven ability to communicate effectively with diverse groups of learners.
• A valid driver's license with a clean driving record is required.
• Fluency in both English and Spanish is highly desirable.

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: $22.00 - $26.50 per hour
