Licensed Electrical Design Engineer

• Must be a Registered and Licensed Electrical Engineer (REE).
• With at least 5 years of relevant experience in Electrical Design.
• Proficient in preparing and reviewing electrical designs, plans, calculations, and technical specifications.
• Knowledgeable in the latest CAD/CADD programs.
• Good communication skills in English and Tagalog.
• Able to work with minimum supervision.
• Able to work effectively under pressure, particularly when handling tight project deadlines.
• Willing to work regular hours and render overtime when necessary.
• Analytical, detail-oriented, and computer literate.
• Knowledgeable in electrical design calculations and engineering principles.

Brief Job Description

• Design and prepare estimates for electrical installation works based on assigned project specifications, plans, and requirements.
• Prepare detailed Bill of Quantities (BOQ), including unit rates for materials and manpower.
• Prepare electrical designs, calculations, layouts, technical specifications, and other engineering documents for each project.
• Perform electrical load calculations and other required engineering calculations, including short circuit and voltage drop calculations when applicable.
• Review project requirements and ensure electrical designs comply with applicable standards, specifications, and project requirements.
• Provide technical information, specifications, design details, and project development updates to management.
• Coordinate with other departments, suppliers, consultants, and project teams regarding scope of work, material quality, equipment requirements, and project costs.
• Evaluate and prepare cost estimates for electrical equipment, materials, labor, and overhead expenses.
• Review electrical equipment and material specifications and recommend appropriate components based on project requirements.
• Prepare design modifications and component substitutions when necessary, ensuring technical suitability and project compliance.
• Review and revise electrical designs based on project changes, site conditions, and client requirements.
• Assist in resolving technical issues related to electrical design, materials, equipment, and installation.
• Ensure all design documents are accurate, complete, and submitted within the required project schedule.
