Licensed Guards Needed

Possess a valid Arizona DPS Guard License

Possess a High School Diploma or GED

Possess reliable transportation (buses, taxis, relatives & friends are exempt)

Possess active and reliable forms of communication, which can be either a residential (home) phone and/or a cell phone

Be able to stand or walk for extended periods of time and get in and out of vehicle without issues.

Be able to work outside during inclement weather conditions, including Arizona's extreme summer heat

Be able to accept occasional overtime hours (remaining on post after scheduled shift ends, arriving early, or accepting a post on an 'Off' day)

Duties

• Conduct regular patrols of premises on foot and via company vehicles to monitor for suspicious activity or security breaches
• Operate access control systems to verify identities and authorize entry for employees, visitors, and contractors
• Perform surveillance using CCTV cameras and other security equipment to detect potential threats or irregularities
• Respond swiftly to emergency situations, including medical incidents, fire alarms, or security breaches, following established protocols
• Write detailed incident reports documenting any security concerns, accidents, or unusual activities observed during shifts
• Assist law enforcement or emergency responders as needed during incidents or investigations
• Perform background checks on new employees or visitors when required to maintain safety standards

Skills

• Proven experience in physical security, law enforcement, military service, or related fields is highly desirable
• If applying for a driver, MUST provide a 5 year MVD driving record
• Strong surveillance skills with knowledge of CCTV systems and access control technology
• Ability to perform first aid and CPR confidently; AED operation experience is a plus
• Skilled in manual handling, heavy lifting, and performing emergency response procedures safely and effectively
• Excellent conflict management and de-escalation abilities to handle tense situations professionally
• Knowledge of firearm handling, taser use, and other security tools in accordance with regulations
• Exceptional customer service skills with a professional demeanor when interacting with the public and team members
• Familiarity with incident report writing, compliance with security regulations, and performing background checks

Pay: $17.00 - $19.00 per hour
