Licensed Hairstylist

Responsibilities

• Deliver expert hair styling, cutting, coloring, and finishing services tailored to each client’s preferences and hair type
• Perform specialized treatments such as hair extensions, waxing, and color to enhance client satisfaction
• Provide personalized consultations on hair care routines, product recommendations, and current trends to ensure client loyalty
• Maintain high standards of sanitation and safety by adhering to all health regulations and store protocols
• managing appointments, and upselling retail products to maximize revenue
• Assist team members by sharing techniques in hair styling, coloring, and other services to foster a collaborative environment

Qualifications

• Valid cosmetology or barbering license issued by the state or relevant authority
• Proven experience working in the beauty industry with a strong portfolio of hair styling and coloring work
• Knowledge of salon software such as Vagoro or similar platforms for client management and retail sales
• Expertise in hair care treatments including extensions, color theory, and advanced styling techniques
• Skilled in sanitation practices to ensure a safe environment for clients and staff
• Excellent communication skills with the ability to connect with diverse clients and understand their needs
• Ability to perform retail math effectively for upselling products like hair care items and makeup applications
• Experience mentoring or training team members is a plus

Pay: $100.00 - $1,500.00 per day
