Position Overview

We are seeking a motivated, customer-centric Insurance Sales & Service Agent to join our team. In this role, you will balance new business sales with high-quality account servicing. As a trusted advisor, you will assess client needs, quote coverage across multiple carriers, and ensure our policyholders receive top-tier support.

Key Responsibilities

• Grow the Portfolio: Identify, qualify, and develop sales leads using networking, referrals, and agency-provided warm leads.
• Assess & Quote Coverage: Evaluate prospective clients' risks to design custom personal (home/auto) and commercial insurance policies.
• Account Servicing: Handle policy changes, process renewals, explain billing schedules, and address coverage inquiries for existing clients.
• Claims Advocacy: Guide clients through initial loss reporting, serving as an empathetic liaison between policyholders and carrier adjusters to ensure prompt resolution.
• Documentation & Technology: Utilize our agency management system (IMS) to process daily workflows, update customer files, and maintain accurate electronic records.
• Team Collaboration: Work closely with colleagues and carrier underwriters to deliver a seamless client onboarding experience.

Qualifications & Requirements

• Licensing: Active Pennsylvania Property & Casualty (P&C) license preferred. Life & Health license is a plus.
• Experience: 1+ years in an insurance agency setting preferred; we are willing to train the right candidate.
• Technical Skills: Comfortable using multi-carrier quoting tools and agency management systems with strong data entry accuracy.
• Soft Skills: Excellent written and verbal communication skills, highly organized, empathetic, and strong multi-tasking capabilities.
