Licensed Insurance Representative

Responsibilities:

• Help clients understand their insurance coverage.
• Explain types of insurance available and explain the benefits of each type.
• Become an expert in the client's industry and be knowledgeable about the financial issues that affect clients and their businesses.
• Understand the company's products and services and advise clients about those products.
• Build relationships with clients by being accessible and available to them.
• Set appointments and meet with prospective clients.
• Read, understand, and interpret complex or technical contracts, policies, or documents.
• Discuss options with clients and build a relationship that makes them want to do business with you.
• Recognize sales opportunities and capitalize on them by closing deals with prospective clients.
